<p>After seeing the Men in Blue lift the inaugural T20 World Cup in 2007 the Indian cricket fans have adopted this format of the game. Such has been their love for the shortest format that they always cheer quality T20 action irrespective of the teams involved in the game. That&#8217;s why even a tournament like IPL gained popularity across the country.</p>
<p>However, nothing can top the excitement when two good internationals teams play out a T20I game. A similar situation panned out in 2009 when Sri Lanka visited the Indian shores for a 2-match series. It was going to be a memorable series as both the teams were full of match-winners. If India had Virender Sehwag and <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/ms-dhoni-and-virat-kohli-didnt-support-me-the-way-sourav-ganguly-did-yuvraj-singh/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><strong>Yuvraj Singh</strong></a> then the Lankan Lions had Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene in their line-up.</p>
<p>In all the fans expected a cracker of a game and both the teams didn&#8217;t disappoint. Sadly for the Indian fans, their team lost the game. More importantly, they also witnessed their heroes create of one of their worst T20I records. During their bowling effort, India conceded as many as 29 fours which is the highest in a T20I inning. So it has to be said that on that night the Indian bowling unit missed the mark by a long way.</p>
