<p>The team from Multan were the last entrants to the bandwagon of PSL. The franchise has finished both of their campaigns just above Lahore Qalandars. They have superstars like Andre Russell, Steve Smith, Mohammad Abbas and Shahid Afridi in their line-up. Multan Sultans need a thinking captain who can utilize the resources smartly, and Ravi Ashwin can do that role perfectly.</p>
<p>The Multan franchise can bring an end to their unsuccessful run under Ashwin&#8217;s leadership. Ashwin has not led the Indian team but he has been the deputy of Virat Kohli on numerous occasions and has the experience of leading the domestic side of TN. In 2018 when the Punjab franchise revamped their squad he was made the skipper, and in a couple of seasons, he has been impressive with his tactics which includes 4 wins in 6 matches of IPL 2019. By joining the Multan team he can pair up with the legend Afridi and can hunt the opposition batsmen.</p>
<h3>5) Peshawar Zalmi, Harbhajan Singh</h3>

<p>Peshawar Zalmi is a decorated team of the PSL as they have always finished the tournament with good track record. The team have won the title in 2017 and have been runner-ups in the last couple of seasons and the batting department is served by Misbah-ul-Haq and Kamran Akmal. The speedsters Hasan Ali and Wahab Riaz have taken up the bowling mantle for the side. Harbhajan Singh as a tweaker and skipper can add immense value to this team.</p>
<p>Harbhajan Singh has been a consistent performer in all the IPL seasons and is one of the players who have been on the winning side for 4 times. During the turmoil of 2011, MI handed the leadership duties to Harbhajan for CL20 and he didn&#8217;t disappoint as the franchise won the silverware for the first time. In IPL 2012 the off-spinner led the side to the playoffs. Harbhajan has the experience of captaining one of the best teams in IPL and his record is praiseworthy. Harbhajan can fill the void of spinner and he can share the dressing room with his 2007 T20 WC nemesis Misbah in the Peshawar team.</p>
<h3>6) Quetta Gladiators, Dinesh Karthik</h3>

<p>Quetta Gladiators has been a good team right from the start of the PSL and they are the current champions. Apart from their recent title win, the team has played all the playoffs. Umar Akmal and Shane Watson are their premier batsman, with Sunil Narine and Dwayne Bravo taking bowling responsibilities. Dinesh Karthik has played a lot of T20 cricket and he can be a sound leader for the Gladiators, who are having a young domestic bowling line-up.</p>
<p>In IPL 2018 KKR hit a refresh button and picked up Dinesh Karthik in the auction pool in a hefty amount. As Gambhir was dropped by the franchise the Indian keeper-batsman was given the duties to lead the two-time champions. He has captained the TN domestic side in the past and under his captaincy, KKR made it to the playoffs. In his second season as captain, he has won 4 out 5 matches and his win rate in IPL is 50%. Gladiators can benefit from Karthik&#8217;s calm headed personality and there he can again join forces with his IPL teammate Sunil Narine.</p>
<p>It is almost impossible to think of Indian players plying their trade, and captaining the franchises in PSL because of the conflicts between nations. Like IPL the T20 league of Pakistan is a good platform for talents and one can only hope for the participation of Indian stars in the future PSL seasons.</p>
