The Australian T20 skipper was woefully out of form with the bat this season. This reflected in his captaincy as he failed to motivate the Kings XI at any stage of the tournament. Regular changes in the playing eleven didn’t serve any goods either. Always one to put the team ahead of himself; George Bailey was mostly on the backfoot with key players being out of touch. Bailey also came under severe criticism for not playing Marsh ahead of Maxwell early in the league.
