In this challenge, KP faces the bowling machine, but still manages to hammer big shots and hits the ball to a long distance. Virat Kohli practicing with a blindfold in the RCB nets: Virat Kohli and Kevin Pietersen are not only former Royal Challenger’s Bangalore (RCB) team-mates but are very close friends off the field as well. Like KP, Virat also carries a fierce attitude on the field and puts his life on the line to win. But this around he is taking on the blindfold challenge in which his eyes are covered and he has to execute big shots like his friend Pietersen had done. And Kohli not only took it but smacked the ball out as well. On the very first ball, he uses his feet to hit a lofted cover drive. While on the next ball, the Delhi dasher goes on the back-foot and plays a barbarous pull shoot while on the last delivery he plays a one-handed lofted straight drive. Kevin Pietersen v Chris Gayle- Big six challenge: Few months ago for the promotion of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), Kevin Pietersen and Chris Gayle took on each other in CPL big six hitting challenge. It was a competition to determine who can hit the biggest six among two of the world’s cleanest hitters of the cricket ball. Both the batters were to face six deliveries which was the basis to determine the winner. It was ferocious competition between the T20 giants of the world but ultimately the most successful batter in the history of T-20 cricket, Chris Gayle came out with flying colours. Muttiah Muralitharan v Graeme Swann coin challenge: There is hardly any doubt that the Sri Lankan legendary spinner Muttiah Muralitharan is the most successful bowler to have played the game. While on the other side is English spinner Graeme Swann, the most successful spinner for England, who was a premiere spinner during his playing days. But what will happen when they would take on each other? In this challenge Graeme Swann and Muttiah Muralitharan had gone head-to-head to knock over a coin placed on the shot glass which was positioned above the stump. They had to spin the ball in a way that the ball strikes the coin and not the glass or the wicket. Natwest T20 players aiming at a moving target: Natwest T20 Blast is one of the most happening T20 leagues of the world and why it wouldn’t be? It has an entertaining bunch of guys who love to enjoy themselves on and off the field. And things turned even more colourful when the County stars tried to aim at a moving target. The challenge was to pick off clay targets by aiming the ball at them. It was sort of a twist in the Clay pigeon shooting to have some fun and enjoy a heart-warming time. In the beginning the players individually tried to aim the target but unfortunately they couldn’t and then they tried to hit the bull’s eye doing it together which they eventually did and celebrated each other’s success thoroughly. MCC Women taking on the Lord’s catching challenge: Lord’s catching challenge is an interesting dare where you have to catch as many balls as you can without putting any of them down. It asks cricketers, celebrities and the public to take part in this entertaining challenge. This time around MCC Women which also included former England cricketer Claire Taylor took on the challenge at Lord Wandsworth College in Hampshire. The first Women from MCC tried her hand at it and took 7 catches and then it was the turn of the star attraction Taylor who came to the party and held on to 12 catches which at a point seemed to be the highest but it wasn’t the case as the last catcher was shrewd and with her brilliant technique she took as many as 14 catches. IPL Super Six challenge: The Indian Premiere League (IPL) is the most thrilling T20 league in the world and it always has something or the other to thrill the fans. In IPL six hitting competition there are a selected number of big hitting players who showcase their skill against the bowling machine. In this particular challenge, the players from Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians participated at Mumbai. The likes of Thisara Perera, Aiden Blizzard, Albie Morkel, Scott Styris, Ravindra Jadeja and Dwayne Smith were the participants.
