8. Jason Roy
The England team is rightly called as the Rest of the world because of its inclusive nature in the national side. Adding another member along with the likes of Chris Jordan, Jofra Archer and Eoin Morgan is Jason Roy. The opening batsman took his first breath in Durban, South Africa. However, he went on to play for the powerful England camp on the back of excellent statistics favouring his inclusion in the national side.
The 30-year-old made his ODI debut against the underdog Ireland in 2015. Taking a glance at his career, Roy has mustered 3483 runs in 92 ODIs at an astounding strike rate of 106. In 36 T20 Internationals, he has garnered 866 runs. It goes without saying that the team benefits a lot from his fire-from-the-first-ball approach in the limited-overs format.
If he continues to perform consistently, Jason Roy will etch his name in the best opening batsman in the history of England cricket.
