In the 1st innings of the 5th Test match between Australia and India at Melbourne, the Australian openers fell prey to run-outs in the same innings. Sid Barnes and Bill Brown were the Aussie openers. Sid Barnes was looking in majestic touch and had scored 33 runs out of 48 runs added for the 1st wicket before getting run-out. Later, Bill Brown also got run-out but he was even more unlucky as he got out on 99 runs and fell just 1 run short of a well deserved century.
