The Wisden Trophy is awarded to the winner of the Test cricket series played between England and the West Indies. It was first awarded in 1963 to commemorate the 100th edition of Wisden Cricketers’ Almanack. The trophy is named after the famous cricketing publisher Wisden. To date, a total of 23 Wisden Trophy series have been played, with West Indies winning 13 and England 6. Brian Lara is the top scorer in the Wisden Trophy series with 2983 runs, while Curtly Ambrose is the leading wicket taker with 164 wickets.
