He will surely go down as one of the greatest spinners of his time. He had the ability to spin the ball a mile, and the drift and loop that he got in the air and his ability to flummox the very best willow wielders of his generation made him a legend of Indian cricket.

Harbhajan Singh was an asset for his side in every format of the game with the ball, and in a career that lasted more than a decade and a half, Harbhajan etched his name in history as one of the all-time greats of the game.

‘Bhajji’ as he is fondly called in the world of cricket is the 3rd highest wicket-taker for India in Test match cricket and scalped a whopping 417 wickets in the whites in 103 Test matches. He also picked up 269 wickets in the ODI format of the game and represented the Indian side in 236 ODI matches. Apart from this, Harbhajan Singh was also a part of the victorious Indian squads that won the 2007 T20 World Cup as well as the 2011 fifty-over World Cup. And today, Harbhajan Singh is celebrating his 41st birthday.

And, social media has been flooded with birthday wishes for Harbhajan Singh, with several cricketers pouring out their love for ‘Bhajji’. From ‘Little Master’ Sachin Tendulkar to current Indian skipper Virat Kohli, several prominent names have wished Harbhajan Singh on his special day.

While both Tendulkar and Kohli wished Harbhajan a year filled with happiness, VVS Laxman hoped that Harbhajan Singh would experience the depth of love. Kuldeep Yadav labeled Harbhajan as a champion cricketer, while Suresh Raina tweeted that he wants to meet Harbhajan soon.

Siddharth Kaul termed Harbhajan Singh as a role model, while Yusuf Pathan listed out some of the achievements of Harbhajan in his illustrious career. Suryakumar Yadav labeled Harbhajan Singh as the man with the golden arm. And finally, Gurkeerat Mann thanked Harbhajan Singh for always being there for him.
