It is no secret that Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli is a huge fan of football. Kohli has been quite vocal regarding his love and fondness for football and been often spotted playing the game during practice sessions. The skipper also shares a close friendship with India’s football team captain Sunil Chhetri.

Both Sunil and Virat share a great camaraderie with each other and have immense respect and admiration for each other. The duo again stole the thunder with their hilarious banter on social media. On May 25, Tuesday, Kohli shared a small clip on his official Twitter handle where he can be seen playing football.

The skipper looked visibly happy while playing the sport as he kicked the ball hard in a bid to hit the goalpost. However, Virat missed his target and the ball touched the crossbar. The right-hander shared the small clip with the caption, “Accidental crossbar challenge”.

The post made by the 32-year-old garnered a lot of attention as netizens showered love on the post in the form of likes and comments. The video also caught the attention of the football captain Sunil Chhetri and he didn’t forget to take a cheeky comment. Reacting to Kohli’s kick, Chhetri wrote, “Saare coaching sessions ka ek hi invoice bheju, ya aasan kishton mein chukaoge, champ? (should I send one invoice for all the coaching sessions or would you like to pay them in easy installments?)

The interaction between the two legends continued as Virat replied to Chhetri’s comment with another cheeky remark. Responding to the footballer’s comment, Kohli wrote, “Yeah right skip. Aap mauj lelo poori (you have a blast out of this).”
