Aaqib Javed is sure that Pakistan will not win a T20I match against Australia
Aaqib Javed also pointed out why Misbah didn’t try out the young speedsters such as Mohammad Musa and Naseem Shah against Sri Lanka at home, instead of throwing them in the deep end against Australia.

Pakistan is ready for the Australian challenge Down Under as they travel for 3 T20I matches and 2 Test matches which will be played under the ICC World Test Championship. Before that, they will play a practice T20 match against Cricket Australia XI and two 3 day matches as well. However, former Pakistan bowler Aaqib Javed does not doubt that Pakistan will lose all games.
Pakistani team’s new head coach-cum-chief selector Misbah-ul-Haq has taken some radical steps to get the house in order, with many newcomers being named in the 20-over international squad, with three teenage pace bowlers making their first appearance for the Men in Green. Also recalled was 7’1” fast bowler Mohammad Irfan, while Sarfaraz Ahmed was dropped as captain and removed from the team.
“I do not see this side being able to win the T20I series in Australia,” says Aaqib Javed
“Many better-quality sides from Pakistan with top-notch world-class players have struggled and failed to win in Australia in the past, so why do we think this side will do any better in the T20Is and Tests in the upcoming tour? Aaqib Javed was quoted as saying by geo.tv. He believed the side is too inexperienced and extremely raw to have any impact on the tour.
Javed felt that the players like Shadab Khan, Hasan Ali, Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Hafeez were the reasons for the rise of Pakistan team to the no.1 spot in the ICC T20I team rankings. But with them not being considered anymore, and Shadab out of form, things don’t look too good for the Men in Green and they will find it tough to put up a fight to mighty Australians.
“I do not see this side being able to win the T20I series in Australia and I do not see them winning any matches in the Test series either. Our young bowlers are used to the lengths that are needed to succeed in home wickets but will have no idea when they are asked to bowl in Australia and that could spell disaster for us,” the Lahore Qalandars coach added.
Aaqib Javed also pointed out why Misbah didn’t try out the young speedsters such as Mohammad Musa and Naseem Shah against Sri Lanka at home, instead of throwing them in the deep end against Australia.
