The cricketers these days never miss the opportunity of interacting with the fans. The social media is often the best place where they share the talking space with the fans. Most recently, it was Australian batsman Aaron Finch who took his time out to have a question and answer round with his fans on micro-blogging site Twitter. Luckily for him, the questions thrown at him weren’t vague and mostly cricket centric. The questions ranged from his stint in the IPL to his favorite place in Australia.

There were questions about his role model, his favorite bowler, the toughest spinners faced, the fastest bowler face and many more. One of the fans asked Aaron Finch about the players he adored as a young kid. Finch was quick to take the names of Ricky Ponting and Mark Waugh as the answer.

The Aussies are not renowned for being great batters of spin and surely Finch has had his issues with the tweakers. When asked to pick the toughest spinners he has ever faced, Finch named former Sri Lankan legend Muttiah Muralitharan and Pakistani spinner Saeed Ajmal. When asked about the fastest bowler that he has faced, the name was almost prompt. Shaun Tait was the answer given by Finch on that question.

Former Australian cricketer Shane Warne had recently remarked that Melbourne is the best city in the world. Finch reaffirmed the same in his tweet when he wrote, “Absolutely!!! Comfortably the best in the world”. On the same lines came his favorite cricket ground and needed no justification as he chose the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Picking his favorite holiday destinations though, he chose Barcelona and New York. A fan asked if he would be back with Surrey this country season. Finch confirmed his availability and noted that he will be with the side from July to September.

A host of questions then came in flooding which was pertaining to IPL and India. He chose Biryani to be his favorite Indian food. He was asked if he has ever been to Kerala, Aaron Finch replied with a positive and said it is too hot there. Mumbai and Bangalore were his picks as his favorite places in India. He confirmed that he will be available for the Gujarat Lions for the entire season this year and had a word of praise for skipper Suresh Raina as he called him exceptional.
