South Africa cricketer AB de Villiers and his wife Danielle de Villiers are set to have third child together. They already have a son and a daughter and will be soon welcoming a new life in their family. Danielle confirmed the news on her official Instagram handle on Tuesday evening even as the congratulatory comments flooded in for her and her cricketer husband.

AB de Villiers has been spending more time with his family ever since he retired from international cricket. While announcing his retirement, he had cited the importance of being with his wife and his two children. Interestingly, he was thinking of making a comeback to play for the Proteas but the Coronavirus pandemic wreaking havoc delayed it. And now there is certainty around him playing cricket at the top level again.

Coming back to the good news in the De Villiers family, Danielle posted a picture of her bump on Tuesday on her Instagram handle and seemed excited to welcome their third child. “Hello baby girl,” she captioned the post confirming the news.

As far as the return of cricket is concerned, AB de Villiers will be seen on the field on 18 July in the 3TC match organised by Cricket South Africa (CSA). He will be leading AB’s Eagles team with the national players like Aiden Markram, Lungi Ngidi, Andile Phehlukwayo and Rassie van der Dussen among others in the side.

Quinton de Kock and Kagiso Rabada will be leading the other two teams namely, Quinny’s Kites and KG’s Kingfishers respectively. It is completely a new format for the fans to experience and it remains to be seen how it pans out on July 18.
