New Delhi, the National Capital of India, has received a lot of criticism of late for the hazardous atmosphere in the city. The pollution level in the metropolitan has increased over the time being owing to which it has become dangerous to stay there. A number of people across the entire of Delhi have been seen wearing masks to protect themselves from the polluted air.

Many corporate organisations also provide masks to their employees for their well-being. Even cricket matches have been hampered due to the long lasting issue. Last year when Sri Lanka played a Test at Feroz Shah Kotla, a number of the visiting team’s players wore masks. Some of them even went on to complain of concussion and the match was halted as many as thrice.

Recently, actor Siddharth, who is currently shooting in Delhi, mentioned that he and his crew haven’t found anything unhealthy in the air. Moreover, he went on to say that had Indian cricket team’s captain Virat Kohli delivered the message, he would’ve sounded more compassionate.

He took to Twitter and wrote, “And anyone who doesn’t want to live in death trap #Delhi should go live somewhere else…” Now if @imVkohli had said this, at least there would have been compassion involved. I’m filming in #Delhi and we cant see anything!”

Here is Siddharth’s tweet

Siddharth is the same personality from the Indian film industry, who slammed the Delhi-born cricketer over the latter’s stern reply to a supporter where Kohli asked him to leave India if he doesn’t like his own countrymen. Siddharth even went on to advise the cricketer to take a leaf out of Rahul Dravid’s books. Moreover, he termed Kohli’s comments as ‘idiotic’.

In a previous tweet, Siddharth wrote, “If you want to remain #KingKohli it may be time to teach yourself to think ‘What would Dravid say?’ before speaking in future. What an idiotic set of words to come from an #India #captain!”
