Actress Sonal Chauhan denies any truth in news on dating KL Rahul

In recent times, there have been several rumours about a possible link-up between Indian cricketer KL Rahul and Sonal Chauhan. The actress and singer, who has predominantly worked in Hindi and Telugu films, is popular for her role in the Bollywood movie Jannat also starring Emraan Hashmi. Lately, with the rumours that she was dating Rahul spreading like wildfire, so much so that Sonal herself had to clear it out and loud.

Apparently, she had mentioned Rahul as a very good cricketer and called him talented. But she also added that nothing of any sorts has transpired between them. There has been a lot of attention paid to the 27-year-old cricketer’s personal life after the comments he made in a talk show earlier this year. There was a lot of criticism shot at him at that point in time. But eventually, things eased down and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has also been accepting.

His Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) team owner, Preity Zinta, said that “he was very respectful towards women”. “It is so good to see Rahul back in form. He is a very nice guy. What happened is in the past. I just feel bad about the way the whole thing turned out but you live and learn. Actually, he is very sweet and respectful towards women, so I don’t know how it all came out. As I said, these are teachable moments,” she said a few weeks ahead.

Can KL Rahul be the number four Team India is looking for?

Many thought that Lokesh Rahul would be the reserve opener for the World Cup 2019. But the management decided to send him to bat at the much-talked about number four position in both the warm-up matches. While he couldn’t make much of an impact against New Zealand, he was exceptional in the following game against Bangladesh.

Rahul started off slowly and analysed the conditions first. Once he got the feel of the wicket and was comfortable, he played the big shots and was precise with his shot selection as well. The century that he scored in this game could have well sealed his spot at this position at least in the starting eleven.
