Afghanistan to tour India for three ODIs in March 2022

Afghanistan have announced their complete cricketing schedule for the next 2 years. According to this schedule, the Afghanistan side will be playing a plethora of limited-overs cricket, with two mega-events, the 2022 T20 World Cup, and the 2023 fifty-over World Cup coming up in the next 2 years.
Afghanistan are set to play a staggering 37 ODIs and 12 T20Is in the two-year cycle. Apart from this, they will also take part in 3 Test matches as well. Apart from this, the Afghanistan cricket team will be taking part in the Asia Cup as well as several ICC events as well.
“We are pleased to announce our FTP schedule for 2022-23. This includes a total of 37 ODIs, 12 T20Is & 3 Tests in the period. Moreover, the national team will be taking part in various ICC & ACC events in two years,” tweeted the official handle of Afghanistan Cricket.

Afghanistan to start 2022 with an ODI series against The Netherlands
Also, according to the itinerary, the Afghanistan side will take on India in a three-match ODI series next year. This series will take place in the month of March.
Afghanistan will start their cricketing season with a three-match ODI series against The Netherlands in January next year, and this will be followed by an ODI and T20I series against Zimbabwe. After the series against India in March, the Afghanistan outfit will lock horns with Australia in a three-match T20I series in May-June.
This will then be followed by a tour to Ireland, where Afghanistan will play 5 ODIs and a one-off Test match. After this, the 2022 Asia Cup is scheduled in August-September, which will be followed by the 2022 T20 World Cup. Afghanistan will end 2022 with a full-fledged tour to Zimbabwe, which will comprise of 2 T20Is, 2 Tests, and 5 ODI matches.
