Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) had a forgetful night at M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Thursday as they lost their second game of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019, this time to Mumbai Indians (MI), by just six runs. The match though was marred by a big controversy as the umpire in the final over, S Ravi, failed to detect a huge no-ball bowled by pacer Lasith Malinga in the final delivery of the match, thereby unjustly denying Virat Kohli’s men another delivery which would’ve been a free hit and could have changed the game’s outcome.

Kohli was livid with the umpiring goof-up and said IPL is not club cricket. His opponent number Rohit Sharma also expressed his displeasure with the incident saying such mistakes should not happen as they change games. However, it seemed the ill-feeling was short-lived as some of the top players of the RCB were seen rejoicing later while shooting for a commercial.

The trip who excelled against MI shake a leg

Kohli shared a video later on Twitter in which he was seen shaking a leg and hips with team-mates Yuzvendra Chahal and AB de Villiers for the commercial and the trio were seen enjoying to the hilt. Kohli captioned the dance video: “Whatever happens laughter is the best medicine!”

All the three players excelled individually in the game against the MI and perhaps were in a better mood to perform off the ground compared to the rest. While Kohli scored 46 off 32 balls, de Villiers remained unbeaten on 70 off 41 balls, Chahal was the best of the RCB bowlers who took 4 wickets for 38 runs earlier. RCB were set a target of 188 in 20 overs but they could manage 181 for 5 in their allotted 20 overs.

Here is the video of Kohli, Chahal and de Villiers dancing:

RCB were shot out for 70 in their first game against Chennai Super Kings in an away game on March 23, the opening day of the IPL, and lost the match by 7 wickets. Although the wicket had come under the scanner on that occasion, yet the RCB batsmen also had their share of blame for not applying themselves enough.
