Australia cricketer Adam Zampa finally got married last week to his longtime girlfriend Hattie Leigh Palmer. His wedding was cancelled not once but twice due to Coronavirus which literally stopped everything and still exists in a lot of countries across the world. Last year, when COVID-19 was spotted for the first time, most of the countries were in complete lockdown and it was the reason why Zampa had to cancel his planned marriage.
Not only him, a lot of cricketers had to cancel their weddings and reschedule it to some other time. While some of them managed to tie the knot with their loved one later, few are still planning as the virus is still troubling the mankind.
Interestingly, Adam Zampa didn’t reveal anything about his wedding on his social media accounts. Kate Willa, the company which designed the bridal wear for the wedding, posted the picture of the adorable couple to reveal that the cricketer and Hattie got married last week.

Adam Zampa to be in action in West Indies
Meanwhile, the leg-spinner Adam Zampa will be soon in action in West Indies as he has been named in the squad for the Caribbean tour. He was one of the players to pull out of the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) along with Kane Richardson and leaving the country before COVID-19 breached the bio-bubble later in the tournament.
Having rested well during this phase, Zampa will be keen on doing well as the T20 World Cup is approaching fast. The mega event is set to be played either in India or UAE in October-November window later this year. As for Australia, they will be soon embarking on their tour to West Indies to play five T20Is and three ODIs.
The T20I series will commence on July 9 with all matches to be played at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium while the ODI series will start on July 20 as Kensington Oval in Bridgetown will host it.
