After Virat Kohli and his runs, it is now his wallet that is making news
The Indian skipper is the brand ambassador for the clothing brand wrogn.
Indian captain Virat Kohli does not make news only for his cricketing prowess, which is only growing by each passing day. The 29-year-old has made scoring runs look so effortless, that in his 10 years of playing cricket, he is already boasting of some of the unique records held by his icon Sachin Tendulkar, and a few of even Sir Donald Bradman’s records! However, it is not just his hunger for runs that make the news.
Kohli’s own brands – Wrogn and one8
Kohli also tops the list of cricketers in terms of brand value, and thus it is no surprise that whatever he wears is scrutinized by the media and turned into news. This time around, Kohli’s wallet is doing the rounds on social media!
In a picture that is being shared by his fans, the dashing cricketers, who own his own fashion brand called Wrogn, is seen carrying a Louis Vuitton Zippy XL wallet in black. For the uninitiated, Louis Vuitton is the biggest brand in luxury bags and wallets. According to mensxp.com, the estimated value of the wallet is $ 1,250, which in rupees is roughly around INR 81,144.
Apart from Wrogn, which introduces itself as an “a breakaway youth fashion brand. Its funky philosophy speaks through trendy design quirks. Each piece strays purposefully. From symmetry and conformity. From accepted norms and expected fads,” Kohli has also merged with Puma and started another of his own brand called one8. The One8 line at present includes athleisure apparel and performance apparel, while footwear and accessories are slowly being introduced.
“The One8 range is very close to my heart. It is my way of calling out to Indians to Come Out and Play because feeling fit and looking active is a simple step 1 towards leading a more active lifestyle. The collection is very versatile and is a mix of fashion and functionality,” Kohli had said.
