Manish Pandey also gearing up for West Indies series
Meanwhile, Manish Pandey, soon after entering the ‘husband’ club in the Indian team, will have to join the Men in Blue ahead of the T20I series against the West Indies. India are scheduled to play three T20Is and as many One-Day Internationals against the Caribbean team led by Kieron Pollard from December 6. Pandey is a part of both the squads and would love to contribute to the team’s cause.
He hasn’t got consistent chances in the playing XI but Pandey’s recent form and the way he led Karnataka to the SMA T20 title should keep him in good stead. It will also be interesting to see, how he converts his domestic form with the bat into the international arena.
