Ajinkya Rahane reveals what his wife is making him do during his quarantine time
Rahane, the vice-captain of the Indian Test team, hasn't played in the limited-overs side for quite some time now.
Due to the current situation of the 21-day lockdown, the entire country has been standing still. The coronavirus spread has resulted in everyone sitting and taking notice. However, cricketers have been enjoying this break from their usual schedule. The players are getting more time for their families which they don’t get generally. Many players are using this time to interact with their fans on social media by having Q&A sessions with them.
Like many other players, Ajinkya Rahane also organised questions and answers session with his fans on Twitter. He asked his fans to ask him any question which they wanted under the hashtag ‘AskAjinkya’. During the Q&A, one of the fans asked him what task of the house has been given to him by his wife, Radhika during this quarantine time.
The tweet from the fan read, “#AskAjinkya Hi brother! Since you are married what task has been given by your better half? on this quarantine life.” To this, Rahane replied saying that he tries to keep his house clean. He also revealed that he has been trying a hand on cooking as well. “I try help in keeping the house clean 🙂 trying my hand at cooking too!”, the tweet read.
Another fan asked Rahane what does he do during the quarantine time. The fan asked, “What’s your Quarantine Schedule these days ?? #AskAjinkya”. The batsman revealed that his entire schedule which included waking up at 5 in the morning, followed reading and working out, playing with his daughter and helping his wife and several other things.
The tweet from the batsman read, “Wake up at 5, read, workout, help Radhika, play with Aarya, video call with parents, cook sometimes, eat and repeat”
Rahane, the vice-captain of the Indian Test team, hasn’t played in the limited-overs side for quite some time now. Rahane would be hoping for a fantastic season with his new franchise in order to get back to Indian ODI squad. After been associated with Rajasthan Royals since 2011, Rahane was traded away to Delhi Capitals for INR 4 crore. The Mumbaikar had previously played for Mumbai Indians and now-defunct Rising Pune Supergiant as well.
