Ajit Agarkar to represent India in corporate Golf

Former Indian paceman Ajit Agarkar is all set to represent India along with his teammate Shabbir Rawjee in corporate Golf Challenge after winning the India Finals at Bangalore on Monday.
Ajit Agarkar has played for Indian cricket in 217 international matches and had picked up 346 wickets with the best bowling figures in an innings of, 6 for 41 in Tests and 6 for 42 in ODIs. Agarkar was also handy with the bat and he had showcased his batting talent in many occasions, such as, scoring a half-century in just 21 balls against Zimbabwe and had also scored a Test century at Lords in 2002.
Agarkar had captained Mumbai in the 2012-13 Ranji Trophy season, leading them to their 40th Ranji Trophy title. Just prior to the following season, Agarkar announced his retirement from all formats of the game.
Agarkar and Rawjee, playing off handicaps 17 and 19 respectively with a total of 62 stable ford points to come out as the first among the 300 teams competed in the tournament with 600 corporate executives. 12 teams (24 players) fight it out in the national finals for a chance to represent corporate India at the World Finals.
The four winners from Delhi-NCR who played in the national finals were – Pawan Puri and teammate Arunjit Sodhi; Deepit Singh and teammate Vedant Jhaver.
Agarkar and teammate Shabbir Rawjee, Akshay Puri and teammate Tarun Bali were the four winners from Mumbai vying for the trophy at the national finals.
