Ajman T20 Cup 2022: Here's the updated points table after Day 7

The ongoing Ajman T20 Cup 2022 has witnessed some really exciting games so far barring a couple of one-sided fixtures. While some teams have succeeded in bringing out their A-games this season, the others have failed to find the momentum despite putting in their best efforts.

It is to be noted that no team is enjoying an unbeaten run in this tournament and at the same time, it must also be noted that all the participants also have a win under their belts. After the first seven days of this year’s competition, the Maratha Arabians and the Delhi Bulls have been the top two sides so far.

Here’s how the Ajman T20 Cup 2022 points table stands

Currently, it is the Maratha Arabians who occupy the top spot with four wins from five matches at a  net run rate of 1.350 and eight points to their tally. Delhi Bulls take the second position having won three of their four matches with six points to their tally. They enjoy a superior NRR of 1.585. The Bulls can displace the Arabians from the top spot should they win their next match and the table-toppers lose theirs. Both sides will have equal points in that case but, Delhi will have an advantage due to a higher net run rate.

The third place is taken by the Bangla Tigers with three victories from four games and six points with an NRR of 0.412. Having managed just a solitary win from their four appearances this time around, the Deccan Gladiators are at the fourth position with two points under their belt and a net run rate of 0.178.  The Ajman Heroes and the Northern Warriors have had a dismal campaign this season and occupy the last two spots in the points table.

While the Heroes find themselves at the second last position with just a single win from four outings with two points and an NRR of -1.171, the Warriors languish at rock bottom with one win from their five appearances with only two points and a negative net run rate of -2.326.
