While the Indian T20 side are gearing up for their second T20I against England at Edgbaston, the Ravindra Jadeja- CSK saga took another twist when the Indian all-rounder deleted all Instagram posts related to CSK from 2021 and 2022. In the latest development, a CSK official has denied claims of a rift between the two parties.

There were rumours of the Indian all-rounder’s animosity towards the Chennai-based franchise post-IPL 2022 and the rumours of a rift were ignited once again when the southpaw deleted all his posts related to CSK’s 2021 and 2022 campaigns from his social media account. There were also reports that the left-arm spinner did not wish former Indian skipper, MS Dhoni, on his birthday on the 7th of July, something he did until last year.

Notably, Jadeja was named the captain of the Chennai Super Kings ahead of IPL 2022. Unfortunately, the tenure did not last long as CSK endured a miserable time under the all-rounder, and he relinquished his role mid-season, sighting a dip in personal form. Dhoni took over the reins once again, and the southpaw was ruled out of the IPL amid controversies after suffering a rib injury. A CSK official has come out saying that there is no spat between the club and the player.

“See, this is a personal call by him. We are not aware of such kinds of incidents from our side. All OK. Nothing is wrong,” The CSK official told media amid rumors of altercations.

Ravindra Jadeja rediscovered his form after a miserable IPL 2022

After enduring a troublesome IPL campaign, the Saurashtra man had stated earlier this month that he had put the IPL 2022 controversies behind him after registering a memorable ton in the first innings of the rescheduled fifth Test against England in Birmingham.

Meanwhile, the all-rounder was congratulated by his IPL franchise CSK after he was appointed the vice-captain for the ODI series against West Indies by the BCCI. He will act as deputy to Shikhar Dhawan in the three-match series commencing later this month
