Kumar is the only batsman in cricket history to amass four consecutive ODI centuries, a feat which he achieved in his last ODI tournament. Overall, Sanga has scored 14,234 runs in 404 ODI matches at an average of almost 42. 4. Brian Lara (West Indies): Brian Lara. Though, his batting style was uncanny but his effectiveness with the willow was unmatched. Brian Lara featured in 299 ODIs and muttered 10,405 runs at an average of 40. 5. Yuvraj was the stalwart in India’s World cup glory. Such has been his aura that when he is at his peak, there cannot be any better sight on the 22 yards. The 33-year old has played in 293 ODIs and has compiled 8,329 runs while he has also taken 111 wickets. 6. Michael Bevan is one of the greatest finishers of ODI cricket, his cool and calm persona was matchless in crunch situations. Bevan represented the Aussies in 232 ODIs and piled up 6912 runs at a staggering average of 53. 7. Adam Gilchrist (Australia) (Wk): Adam Gilchrist. Adam emerged as the protagonist in World Cup 1999 and 2007 finals. He featured in 287 ODIs and blasted 9619 runs at a belligerent strike rate of 96. Whenever Gilchrist clicked, matches became one-sided and the opponents got thrashed. 8. Wasim Akram (Pakistan): Wasim Akram. The New Zealand team always turned to Vettori whenever the team was in tough situations. In 295 ODIs, he took 305 wickets at a miserly economy of 4.12 which is piercing considering the recent trends in ODIs. With the bat, he aggregated 2253 runs and donned the supporting role many a times during his career for the team. 11. Zaheer Khan (India): Zaheer Khan.
