'Always want England to lose' - Anonymous tweet claimed to be from ex-England player causes stir

An anonymous tweet claiming to be from a former England international has caused quite a stir on social media, leading to speculation regarding the identity of the player behind the post. The tweet was posted from a popular Twitter account Fesshole, where users can post anonymous tweets. The Twitter handle has more than 90,000 followers.

Talking about the tweet that is raising a number of eyebrows, the unidentified former player or anyone else stated that while he played for England, his heart always remained with a different national team. He also said that he always wants England to end up on the losing side. It should be noted that England’s cricket team has been filled with players of different nationalities for years now.

At present, players who have roots in South Africa, Ireland, New Zealand, Barbados as well as Pakistan are plying their trade for the team. The diversity in the team is also one of the main reasons behind the team’s recent success. The former England batsman has South African roots.
