A few onlookers captured the entire scene in video footages.
Out of favor veteran Indian cricketer Ambati Rayudu has been trying hard to get his place back in the Indian national side. However, with the emergence of new faces and dominating performances from a few youngsters, the 31-year old has had little success in his endeavors of making a national comeback. While his on the field luck seems to be dipping, the off field tempers seem to be soaring high.
Recently, Ambati Rayudu was seen getting involved in a scuffle on the streets of Hyderabad. The middle-order batsman was apparently rash driving on the roads heading to the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. His driving seemed objectionable to a few pedestrians. One senior citizen thought it to be prudent to let Rayudu know about this.
As per the recent reports in Zee News, the senior citizen walked up to Ambati Rayudu and told him about his rash driving. He, apparently, advised Rayudu not to be doing so. Reportedly, this miffed the Indian cricketer who decided to apply the brakes, get down, and then manhandle the old man. This kind of behavior is certainly not acceptable by any means.
It surely does not go down well with his reputation either. A few onlookers captured the entire scene in video footages. It took very little time for these footages to get viral on the social media. In the video, Ambati is seen manhandling the senior citizen. The old man refused to comment on the issue. Rayudu, also, has not commented on the entire fiasco yet.
While, Rayudu was involved in the on-field fiasco, the Indian team were in action in Sri Lanka. Having a handsome 3-0 lead, they took on the hosts in the 4th ODI and continued their dominion on the tour. They were firmly led by handsome knocks from skipper Virat Kohli and opener Rohit Sharma.
