Amitabh Bachchan sheds tears after watching 'Sachin: A Billion Dreams.'

The movie ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams‘ has certainly brought the masters of the game and Bollywood together under one roof, welcomed by the man himself Sachin Tendulkar. Amitabh Bachchan also felt the emotional outbreak after witnessing the man himself on the big screen. Further, Big B said he was extremely proud to be born in the same country as Sachin.

The veteran actor went on to praise the way Sachin had acted in his biopic, saying that he deserves a lot more credit than due for his acting. Amitabh additionally was also impressed with the message that the movie was trying to deliver to the audience.

Emotional feeling

Talking about it, Amitabh said, “It’s a very emotional feeling, apart from the life history of Sachin, I believe it’s a fantastic film for the pride of India. I was telling Sachin, this film should be shown to every individual in the country, it should be shown in every school, not just because we are so proud of Sachin, but how proud he has made the country. I am so glad this movie was made. We all know about the life of Sachin but what the film has done, it has shown the rest of the world, how somebody from very humble beginnings can put up a fight and make this country so proud. I feel just so happy.”

It was not the only form of appreciation that the Bollywood legend showered on the other legend (cricketing), he further took the micro-blogging platform Twitter to tell people that the movie deserved all the awe that it got from the audience.

It was on Thursday morning that Amitabh Bachchan posted a few pictures of him alongside Sachin and his wife, Anjali. Praising the film, Amitabh tweeted, “T 2435 – ‘SACHIN a Billion Dreams’ movie last night ..filled with pride and emotion .. मैं उस देश का वासी हूँ जिस देश में Sachin बहता है !!!”

Further, his son Abhishek Bachchan took the similar route to convey his support for the movie.
