Veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan also known as the superstar of the Millennium is not just into movies but is also a passionate cricket fan, he has never missed an opportunity to cheer for the Indian cricket team and very recently also sung the national anthem before the India v Pakistan World T20 match. Senior Bachchan also makes sure he congratulates the Indian cricket team after all their victories on Twitter.
After MS Dhoni hit the winning runs against Australia tonight AB tweeted:
T 2188 – @imVkohli you were brilliance times infinity !! Pure genius. Thank you for tonight ! And may many more such nights come our way !!

While India marched their way to a thumping win over the Aussies at Mohali with the help of another classic knock from their batting mainstay Virat Kohli former England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff tweeted ‘At this rate @imVkohli will be as good as @root66 one day ! Not sure who @englandcricket will meet in the final now !’
This was seriously going to offend the Indian fans who were overwhelmed by the knock their star had played and for the fact that the team had qualified for the semi-finals with this win. Apart from what the common fans said, Freddie also faced the flak from Sr. Bachchan who replied to his tweet with –
@flintoff11 @imVkohli @root66 @englandcricket Root who ? जड़ से उखाड़ देंगे Root ko ..!!!

Amitabh was also in the news last week after India’s victory over Bangladesh since he wasn’t too pleased with the way the Indian commentators praised just Bangladesh players and chose to ignore the fact that India did better to win the game. He had tweeted –
T 2184 – With all due respects, it would be really worthy of an Indian commentator to speak more about our players than others all the time.
— Amitabh Bachchan (@SrBachchan) March 23, 2016
Here is how Amitabh Bachchan had congratulated Dhoni and India for the nail-biting victory:
T 2184 -MS DHONI you were magnificent tonight vs Bangladesh ..!! It is no joke to stategise the game the way you did, right to the last ball
— Amitabh Bachchan (@SrBachchan) March 23, 2016
T 2184 -Now that I can breathe free .. WELL PLAYED INDIA !! Winning from 2 runs and 3 balls and then a hat trick on the last is incredible !
