Anupam Kher praises the beautiful gesture of Rohit Sharma towards his wife, Ritika

Very recently, it was swashbuckling India batsman, Rohit Sharma who acknowledged the presence of his wife, Ritika Sajdeh in his life with a beautiful on-field gesture.

After having reached his third ODI double-ton, Sharma kissed his wedding ring and sent a flying kiss towards his wife in the stands, who had been watching the match with rapt attention. This simple yet poignant gesture from the cricketer had the onlookers gushing. Veteran actor, Anupam Kher recently tweeted about the incident, expressing that the gesture had touched his heart.

The second ODI between India and Sri Lanka saw the HitMan smash his third ODI double century; a feat unparalleled in the history of the game. The innings was constructed masterfully by the star batsman, where he brought up his second century off just 36 deliveries, aided by 11 sixers.

After reaching the phenomenal milestone, Sharma acknowledged the crowd and also kissed his wedding ring, to mark the perfect gift for his wife on their second marriage anniversary. His wife, Ritika was captured on camera, watching the proceedings with moist eyes and a jubilant face. The endearing gesture between the couple was appreciated by all and actor Anupam Kher was no exception.

The actor tweeted a congratulatory message for the couple on their anniversary, lauding the “purity” of their “love story”. The close-ups of the faces of both the batsman and his wife revealed the deep love and bond that exists between them and the world was left gushing at their sweet exchange.
