The Afghanistan Premier League is a few days away from commencement and after a highly spirited performance in the Asia Cup 2018, a lot of their national players will be keen to pull off good performances. One among those would certainly be Rashid Khan, who recently escalated to the top of the ODI rankings for all-rounders.
He also stands second in the list of bowlers in ODI rankings and is on top of the bowlers’ rankings in T20Is. Rashid Khan shared his elation after this remarkable achievement on Twitter and popular Australian anchor and model Erin Holland congratulated him. Erin Holland is also the girlfriend of all-rounder Ben Cutting, who played a lot of cricket with Rashid Khan in the IPL for Sunrisers.
Erin also made a cheeky request to the Afghan all-rounder to take care of her fiancee by not bowling at him too much. Cutting will be representing the Nangarhar Leopards in the APL 2018 whilst Rashid is the icon player for the Kabul franchise.
“So happy for you Rashid! Look after (Ben) Cutting for me (maybe don’t bowl him out too much please) in the APL 2018,” Holland said via her official Twitter handle.
