The second innings for Madhya Pradesh was Tendulkar’s opportunity to shine and he latched onto the chance with both hands.
Arjun Tendulkar picked up 5 wickets to help his team’s cause. He demolished the top order of the opposition as he dismissed the top 4 batsmen. The fifth wicket was deposited in his kitty as he scalped the number 9 batsman. Madhya Pradesh were bowled out for 411, with the match ending in a draw.
The pressure of expectations on the young man has been humongous ever since he’s stepped onto the cricket field owing to his father’s genius with the bat. While many cynics have opined for this pressure to tell on Arjun Tendulkar, it has not been the case till date. The young lad, who’s a bowler in contrast to his father’s batting role, has put up exemplary performances with the ball more than once and is definitely a talent to watch out for in the future.
