Pakistan is currently playing against Australia in the second game of the two-match Test series at Adelaide Oval in Adelaide. After facing a big defeat in the series opener, the visitors were expected to come up with strong performances in Adelaide. However, they looked ineffective while bowling and never looked seemed like troubling the host batsmen. Former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar couldn’t hold himself back after watching the poor show by the bowlers in the 2nd Test and come up with some strong words.
The on-going 2nd Test match is a Day-Night affair in which Australia won the toss and elected to bat first. They didn’t get off to a good start as they lost their opening batsman Joe Burns at a low score of eight runs. But, after that, the Australian batsmen accelerated and never gave Pakistan bowlers a single moment to cherish. David Warner smacked his second consecutive ton and also stitched a brilliant partnership with Marnus Labuschagne of 294* runs until the end of Day 1.

Coming on Day 2, Pakistan got their second breakthrough as Shaheen Afridi bowled Labuschagne out, who played a marathon knock of 162 runs. After that, the Warner show is still on he is racing towards shattering many records.
On both the game days, the visitor’s bowlers looked pretty ineffective and clueless with the ball. Neither pacers like Mohammad Abbas, Shaheen Afridi and Muhammad Musa could bowl with accuracy nor their spinner Yasir Shah could trouble the Aussie batsmen. Moreover, their fielders also committed some hilarious misfields in the game that made them a mickey in front of the spectators.
Meanwhile, former Pakistan speedster, Shoaib Akhtar, who is known for his outspoken nature, looked unimpressed by the performance of the team. He took to his Twitter handle in order to criticise the bowlers and wrote, “Clueless how to take wickets on these tracks. Waiting for Australia to declare or just gift the wickets. Asay nahi hota bhai.”
At the time of filing this news, Australia was playing at a score of 569 runs at a loss of three wickets. David Warner has smashed a brilliant triple hundred.
