Ashes Cricket video game release date announced
The Australian game studio had earlier released Don Bradman Cricket 17 and Big Bash 2016 mobile game.
Now you can hit off your Ashes campaign way before Joe Root’s men take the field against the likes of Mitchell Starc. It has been confirmed that the video game Ashes Cricket will release a week ahead of the first Test match. Big Ant studios announced that the Magellan Ashes series will be up for grabs on November 16, a week ahead of the first Test.
England will be defending their title against Australia, with the first Ashes Test set to begin from 23rd November at the Gabba. It is a fully licensed, and it will bring all the happenings of the Commonwealth Bank Women’s Ashes and men’s Ashes Series to Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.
Most authentic version
It is believed that the upcoming game will be the most authentic version of video game cricket which will also have feature photo-real depictions of the men’s and women’s teams from Australia and England. Big Ant has worked with Cricket Australia and England & Wales Cricket Board to bring out the best for the gamers. All the cricketers have had their closest possible look captured using 35 DSLR cameras to create an impact.
“We can’t wait for fans to get their hands on the game,” Big Ant chief executive Ross Symons said. “We wanted this game to build on the years of experience that we’ve had in developing cricket games, and we’re thrilled with the results.” he added.
Iconic grounds, realistic feel
“Playing this game really does feel like being out there on one of Australia’s iconic cricket grounds. Every one of our releases builds on what we’ve learned in previous games. We’ve taken fan feedback to heart and have brought innovations to the game that have resulted in a smoother and more comprehensive game of cricket.” he said.
Adding to the thrill, Australian cricketers Steve Smith, Glenn Maxwell, Emma Inglis and Mackinley Blows all had their movements captured in a complex recording process.
