Ashish Nehra names the 'biggest miser' in the Indian team
Indian veteran pacer Ashish Nehra and Yuvraj Singh are known to be the best of friends in the cricket circuit, and the duo are often seen sharing a laugh. Nehra recently called Yuvraj the biggest miser, in a talk show hosted by Gaurav Kapur. Nehra spoke his heart out in front of the camera, and the latest episode of “Breakfast with Champions” is out on youtube now.
Yuvraj had earlier called Nehra the most miser friend of his, and went on to narrate funny stories on the talk show. Nehra has been in and out of the Indian side due to injuries and recently retired from the game of cricket after playing his last game against New Zealand at the Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi. Nehra represented the Indian team on 164 occasions across all three formats. He picked a total of 235 international wickets, 6/23 being his best of the career.
Nehra hits back at Yuvraj’s jibe
“Yuvraj Singh has spread the rumor that Ashish Nehra is the biggest miser. Right? My comeback is, have you heard of the saying, the guilty one always gets defensive. The police asks “Who stole this?”, “Sir, it wasn’t me!”. Before anyone says anything, he made that comment first. And he added poor Virat Kohli’s name in it.
“I have got nothing else to say after this. I leave it to you to understand,” Said Nehra. When Nehra was done firing shots at Yuvraj, Gaurav, his close friend went into the left-handers defense. “But he does pay. Whenever we go out he foots the bill..”, said Gaurav. But Nehra bowled a quick yorker which castled Gaurav’s stumps. He replied to Gaurav’s claim by saying “And that day it rains,”.
Yuvraj Singh has been out of form in recent times and is eyeing a spot in the 2019 World Cup.
