Ashish Nehra
The classical left-arm pacer with swing, seam, accuracy and variations, Ashish Nehra retired from all forms of international cricket in November 2017. He later took up coaching roles in the Indian Premier League (IPL) with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in 2018 and Gujarat Titans (GT) in 2022.
Nehra also became the first Indian head coach to win the IPL title in 2022. Meanwhile, in the 2016 Asia Cup, he picked up six wickets in four games with an economy rate of 7.07, an average of 16.50 and a strike rate of 14.0.
Against Pakistan, Nehra bowled three overs, conceded 20 runs and got the wicket of opener Mohammad Hafeez. He was India’s pace bowling spearhead in 2016 in the shortest format, and also played in the 2016 World Cup. His last appearance came against New Zealand in Delhi in November 2017 in a T20I.
