Asia Cup 2018: Mashrafe Mortaza in search of right combination for the World Cup

The battle for the crown of Asian cricket- the Asia Cup is set to commence on September 15 in the UAE. All five Test-playing nations of Asia will take part in this prestigious tournament, and Hong Kong will also join them as they won the Asian Cup qualifier recently. A total of 13 matches will take place in the event in two different venues
Participating six teams will play the 14th edition of the multi-nation event and are divided into two groups. Defending champions India will strike their group-stage games versus arch-rival Pakistan and Hong Kong while Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka are ready for the battles in group B.
Before the tournament gets kicked off, Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Mortaza talked to the media and expressed his hope to find the right combination for his team before the World Cup. Meanwhile, the Tigers will play their first match against Sri Lanka on the opening day of the tournament in Dubai.

At the pre-tournament press conference in Dubai, Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza said: “Everyone is expecting a successful Asia Cup. I am also one of them. Asia Cup will be a great tournament, and we will try to find out our best combination for the world cup during this extravaganza.
We will play more series after the Asia Cup. But, I think this tournament will help us more than other series to find out a right combination for the World Cup.”
Talking about the clash, Mashrafe said: “It is an essential affair for us to start the tournament on a positive note. If we get it right against Sri Lanka, the rest of the event can be easy for us.”
Bangladesh played two Asia Cup finals, but, they failed to win it even once. This time around, the Tigers are hoping something memorable from the event.
