Asia Cup 2022: India vs Pakistan - 5 Player battles to watch out for
India and Pakistan face off on August 28 in the UAE in the Asia Cup 2022.
4. Arshdeep Singh vs Mohammed Rizwan
The tall, lanky left-arm pacer, Arshdeep Singh is one of the finds and an emerging player for the Indian cricket team. He could potentially be the final piece in the jigsaw the Indian bowling department is looking for, which is a left-arm pacer, who can swing the ball either way and provide that extra option in the arsenal.
Since Arshdeep made his debut in July, he has appeared in six T20Is, picking up nine wickets with an economy rate of 6.33. He might share the new ball with Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the Asia Cup 2022. His contest with Pakistan opener Mohammed Rizwan could make an interesting watch for the fans.
It will be a proper test for the 23-year-old pacer since Rizwan has been in great form with the bat. Rizwan, in 56 T20Is, has scored 1,662 runs, of which 1,326 runs came in 2021 alone. He is also the number three ranked batter in T20Is and one that the Indian bowlers would look to get rid of.
