Asia Cup T20: Bangladesh v Pakistan – Statistical Highlights
Hosts Bangladesh entered into the finals of the Asia Cup T20 after a close win against Pakistan. After electing to bat first, Pakistan found themselves in trouble losing 4 wickets for just 28 runs on the board. However, Sarfraz Ahmed and Shoaib Malik’s knocks helped them reach a respectable total of 129/7.
Bangladesh got off to a decent start with Soumya Sarkar scoring well as they were placed at 65/2 at the end of 10th over. But some tight bowling from Pakistan bowlers brought the equation down to 18 needing from last 2 overs. A couple of no-balls from Mohammad Sami in the penultimate over helped the hosts to relieve from the pressure of scoring in the final over. Mahmudullah’s boundary in the end sealed a 5-wicket win for his side. Here we look at all the stats and records recorded during the game.
