MS Dhoni also did not get much opportunity with bat as the match was almost over by the time he came in. Dhoni came in and quickly completed the formality of getting the eight runs required to finish the game. It was yet again Mahi who hit the winning runs for India. His captaincy was outstanding and had the usual surprise element in it. His bowlers backed his decision to bowl first. His decision to introduce Yuvi ahead of Ashwin also worked. Behind wicket, he took two catches and effected a brilliant run out to dismiss Shahid Afridi. In all, it was a highly satisfying day for the skipper.
