Banters and sledging during tours of Australia are quite prevalent. Given the aggressive brand of cricket that the Australians play, they often indulge in a war of words with the oppositions. The Indian team, in the earlier days, rarely paid any heeds to the same and often went about its own business.

However, the current crop of young Indian cricketers don&#8217;t deal with things that way. Backed by a fiery skipper in the form of <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/ive-never-been-more-proud-of-a-team-than-this-one-virat-kohli/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Virat Kohli</strong></a>, the side doesn&#8217;t back off and tries to give it back to the opposition at every opportunity. Therefore, there was a lot of banters all the way through the recently concluded four-match series. Cashing in on the fun, the broadcaster decided to make the optimal use of the stump-mic and thus enhanced the fun.

Of course, the wicketkeepers of both the sides, Rishabh Pant and Tim Paine were at the centre of all these talks. Not just the two of them but, comments from a few other close-in fielders were recorded and were equally entertaining. This conversation between Rishabh Pant and Tim Paine was probably the most hilarious one of the series. This incident took place in the third Test when the 21-year-old was at the crease batting. The ODI squad for the Australia series was announced around that time and Pant didn&#8217;t feature in there.

The Australian skipper from behind the stumps told him the same and asked him to extend his Australian holiday. He also offered him a spot in the Hobart Hurricanes side playing the Big Bash League. Paine wasn&#8217;t to stop there and went on to take a hilarious jibe at Pant by asking him if he&#8217;d babysit. These comments took the internet by storm and went viral.

Later on, Pant actually posed for a picture along with Paine&#8217;s wife Bonnie and the kids when both the teams visited the Prime Minister&#8217;s residence in Sydney. Bonnie put up an Instagram story captioning it as &#8216;Best babysitter?&#8217;. Hence, things ended on a lighter note.

The Australian skipper was at it yet again and it was Rohit Sharma who was on strike this time. While talking to Aaron Finch who was fielding close-in, Paine said that he always had a confusion choosing one team between the <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/ipl-2019-mumbai-indians-predicted-xi/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Mumbai Indians</strong></a> and the Rajasthan Royals.

He then shifted the focus towards Rohit, the Mumbai Indians captain. The 34-year-old offered to support the Mumbai team if Rohit hits a six. Sharma, however, didn&#8217;t lose his focus and ignored Paine&#8217;s words.

This incident went further on when Rohit offered Tim Paine a spot in the MI squad if he hit a century. &#8220;If he (Paine) gets a hundred here, I will put in a word about him to my boss at Mumbai Indians and we&#8217;ll buy him. Looks like he&#8217;s a fan of Mumbai,&#8221; he said. Even though both these things didn&#8217;t materialise, it left enough for the fans to talk about.

The Indian wicketkeeper decided to have a go at the Australian speedster Pat Cummins in the first Test. Cummins was sticking around for quite a long time in the fourth innings and thus ended up frustrating Pant. Hence, the youngster came up with a very interesting conversation. He tried sledging Cummins with a few words and thus incited him to attempt a big shot. Cummins scored 28 runs off 121 balls in that innings and Australia eventually lost the match by 31 runs.

Cheteshwar Pujara, with 521 runs in 4 matches, was instrumental in helping India win for the first time in Australia. The number three batsman batted for extremely long hours and extracted all the pulp from the bowlers. <p>Banters and sledging during tours of Australia are quite prevalent. Given the aggressive brand of cricket that the Australians play, they often indulge in a war of words with the oppositions. The Indian team, in the earlier days, rarely paid&nbsp;any heeds to the same and often went about its own business.</p>
<p>However, the current crop of young Indian cricketers don’t deal with things that way. Backed by a fiery skipper in the form of <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/ive-never-been-more-proud-of-a-team-than-this-one-virat-kohli/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Virat Kohli</strong></a>, the side doesn’t back off and tries to give it back to the opposition at every opportunity. Therefore, there was a lot of banters all the way through the recently concluded four-match series. Cashing in on the fun, the broadcaster decided to make the optimal use of the stump-mic and thus enhanced the fun.</p>
<p>Of course, the wicketkeepers of both the sides, Rishabh Pant and Tim Paine were at the centre of all these talks. Not just the two of them but, comments from a few other close-in fielders were recorded and were equally entertaining. <p>This conversation between Rishabh Pant and Tim Paine was probably the most hilarious one of the series. This incident took place in the third Test when the 21-year-old was at the crease batting. The ODI squad for the Australia series was announced around that time and Pant didn’t feature in there.</p>
<p>The Australian skipper from behind the stumps told him the same and asked him to extend his Australian holiday. He also offered him a spot in the Hobart Hurricanes side playing the Big Bash League. Paine wasn’t to stop there and went on to take a hilarious jibe at Pant by asking him if he’d babysit. These comments took the internet by storm and went viral.</p>

<p>Later on, Pant actually posed for a picture along with Paine’s wife Bonnie and the kids when both the teams visited the Prime Minister’s residence in Sydney. Bonnie put up an Instagram story captioning it as ‘Best babysitter?’. Hence, things ended on a lighter note.</p>

<p>The Australian skipper was at it yet again and it was Rohit Sharma who was on strike this time. While talking to Aaron Finch who was fielding close-in, Paine said that he always had a confusion choosing one team between the <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/ipl-2019-mumbai-indians-predicted-xi/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Mumbai Indians</strong></a> and the Rajasthan Royals.</p>
<p>He then shifted the focus towards Rohit, the Mumbai Indians captain. The 34-year-old offered to support the Mumbai team if Rohit hits a six. Sharma, however, didn’t lose his focus and ignored Paine’s words.</p>

<p>This incident went further on when Rohit offered Tim Paine a spot in the MI squad if he hit a century. “If he (Paine) gets a hundred here, I will put in a word about him to my boss at Mumbai Indians and we’ll buy him. Looks like he’s a fan of Mumbai,” he said. Even though both these things didn’t materialise, it left enough for the fans to talk about.</p>

<p>The Indian wicketkeeper decided to have a go at the Australian speedster Pat Cummins in the first Test. Cummins was sticking around for quite a long time in the fourth innings and thus ended up frustrating Pant. Hence, the youngster came up with a very interesting conversation. He tried sledging Cummins with a few words and thus incited him to attempt a big shot. Cummins scored 28 runs off 121 balls in that innings and Australia eventually lost the match by 31 runs.</p>

<p>Cheteshwar Pujara, with 521 runs in 4 matches, was instrumental in helping India win for the first time in Australia. The number three batsman batted for extremely long hours and extracted all the pulp from the bowlers. He faced over 1,200 deliveries in the series and scored 193 off 373 balls in the first innings of the fourth Test.</p>
