Australia vs India: Shane Warne makes an interesting prediction for the Test series

One can’t look too far ahead as it would propel to lose sight of what’s happening at present. That’s exactly why pundits and players always speak of ‘one ball at a time’ in games and ‘one game at a time’ in tournaments, so on and so forth.
Well, that’s not necessarily the case all the time as experts and even players tend to play the tantalizing game of ‘temptation’ and start making predictions about how things can unfold in near future. As the spine-chilling Test series between India and Australia has begun, the cricketing fraternity has enough reasons to stand on the shoes of an ‘astrologer’.
Shane Warne has come up with an interesting prediction for the Test series which might raise eyebrows for many of the cricket fans.
It’s going to be Shaun Marsh vs Virat Kohli
While Glenn McGrath has surprisingly given a 50-50 chance for both teams this time, his compatriot Shane Warne, arguably the greatest leg-spinner to have ever walked on to a cricket field, is doing the honors as he has come up with strong and spicy predictions about the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2018-19.
According to Warne, the leading wicket-taker of the series could either be the speedster Pat Cummins or the spin wizard Nathan Lyon. He doesn’t believe that any of the Indian bowlers could top the bowling charts. One can’t find anything wrong with this statement so far as both Cummins and Lyon were impressive and picked up crucial wickets on Day 1. As far as the batting department is concerned, the magician believes that there will be a tug-off between Indian captain Virat Kohli and Australia’s Shaun Marsh.
Warne, leaving no stone unturned, claims that the winner of the ongoing Test match in Adelaide would eventually clinch the series. He posted his forecasts on his Instagram handle which read, “Excited for the 1st test match here in Adelaide that starts today. Good luck to both teams and may the best team win !!!! My leading run scorer for the series is Shaun Marsh or Virat Kohli and my leading wicket takers are Pat Cummins or Nathan Lyon. Whoever wins the first Test will win the series 2-1. Agree?”
