Talking about the Australian cricket team, they were last up against West Indies in the white ball series. Though they lost the T20I series, 1-4, they bounced back in the ODI series and won it. Mitchell Starc was only declared as the player of the series for his splendid bowling action. Australia faced WI with their depleted side as many of their players were not available either due to personal reasons or injury concerns.
Their head coach Justin Langer added they have enough depth in their squad and losing against the Caribbean has given them some perspective. They could have done better if they had played some games in the recent while. West Indies were coming after playing against South Africa of late.
