Pakistan, who came in for a three-match ODI series against the Netherlands, have already secured the series 2-0 on the back of two good performances. The first ODI did show some hiccups, with the Netherlands almost chasing down the total posted by Pakistan in the first innings. In the second ODI, the Netherlands were bundled up for 186 in the 45th over, and Pakistan chased down the total in the 34th over.
Babar Azam has scored two half-centuries in the first two ODIs, and he’s certainly making a big statement with his consistency levels. The 27-year-old averages almost 60 in the ODI format and is often rated among the best modern-day batters alongside Virat Kohli, Kane Williamson, and Joe Root. Pakistan have a big assignment coming up with the Asia Cup 2022 set to get underway on August 27th in UAE.
