Virat Kohli is one of the best players in the world: Babar Azam
Babar Azam is often compared with Indian skipper and batting maestro Virat Kohli. Just like Kohli, Babar is also ruling all formats of the game. The 26-year-old recently opened up on the comparisons with the Indian legend saying that it is a matter of pride for him.
“Virat Kohli is one of the best players in the world. He has performed everywhere and in big matches. When people compare us, I don’t feel pressure, I feel proud because they are comparing me with such a big player,” Babar said.
“Personally, I don’t think there should be a comparison, but people do that and I feel happy. So my aim is to perform the way he does and help my team win matches and make Pakistan proud. Look, we are different players. I have my style of playing and he has his style. So I try to perform to the best of my ability,” he added.

You are still a performer, probably the best days of your career are ahead of you, and you are publishing your story already? Seems very premature.

Seems like a promotional campaign. Not a bad idea to get some extra PR. 🤷🏻♀️

I thought a rocket was launching tomorrow. I was wondering why a cricket player will launch a rocket or something. I follow too many space agencies lol
I am very very excited because I know another Babar. Whenever you play I used to tell him "please stop doing runs or we'll lose"— NZC Meow (@NZCMeow) June 4, 2021

It’s too premature. You should focus on the game. History will tell your story but it shouldn’t be during middle of ur career
