Asad Rauf, who was once a part of ICC’s elite panel of umpires, perhaps had found himself in a treacherous occurrence in 2012, when a 21-year old Indian model Leena Kapoor had alleged him for an affair. This scandalous occurrence had first made developments when Leena Kapoor had opened up about the sexual exploitation and the marriage promise made by Asad Rauf.

Leena Kapoor had claimed that they were in an intimate relationship where Asad Rauf had sexually exploited her on the pretext of getting married. Further, Leena also disclosed, “He convinced me that because his religion allowed more than one marriage, he could marry me. He kept saying his family wouldn’t have a problem with his second marriage.”

However, with numerous images then getting surfaced on social media, the Pakistani umpire claimed that he was with her as a “fangirl” and with him being happily married along with two kids, nothing was promised especially the marriage.
