Abid Ali, Sajid Khan, and Faheem Ashraf were spotted going to a restaurant for their lunch on Day 5 of the 2nd Test between Bangladesh and Pakistan. However, what caught the attention was Abid Ali’s wonderful gesture.

Ali took a plate of food and offered it to a cat that was sitting outside the restaurant. The Pakistan opening batter fed the food to the cat, which surely enjoyed the meal offered by Abid.

The official Twitter handle of Pakistan cricket tweeted a video of the incident. “It is not only the players who are taking lunch,” read the caption in the video.

Pakistan on top in the 2nd Test against Bangladesh

Talking about the on-field action between Pakistan and Bangladesh, the Babar Azam-led outfit is on top, and has dominated the 2nd Test match against Bangladesh. Wielding the willow first, Pakistan declared their first innings with their scorecard reading 300/4.

As many as 4 Pakistan batters scored half-centuries. While Babar Azam top-scored with a fluent 76, the likes of Azhar Ali, Fawad Alam, and wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan, all helped themselves to handy fifties.

In reply, Bangladesh were shot out for a paltry 87, with off-spinner Sajid Khan slicing through the hosts’ batting lineup, scalping an 8-wicket haul. Just 2 Bangladesh batters could even score in double digits in the first essay. Bangladesh were asked to follow on, and their scorecard reads 147/6 in the second innings.

Pakistan are already 1-0 up in this two-match Test series after they thrashed Bangladesh by 8 wickets in the 1st Test that took place at Chattogram. Abid Ali won the Player of the Match award in the 1st Test after scoring 133 and 91 in both innings at the top of the order.
