Rubel Hossain arguably Bangladesh’s best pacer was a pale shadow of himself this series. A natural wicket taker, Rubel leaked far too many runs this series and picked up just 2 wickets. He did really well in the world cup as well as against Pakistan in the recently concluded bilateral series, but his sudden loss of form has come as a setback for the side.
