2. David Warner finding his feet in Asia
After the end of the first innings of Australia, one had a feeling that this series would be the same old story of Warner being dismal in Asiatic conditions. However, it was not to be as the Australian smashed a century in the second innings of the Dhaka Test match to turn it around for himself and Australia. Aussies were looking to post a solid lead in front of the home side in the Chittagong Test match.
Warner responded brilliantly under the circumstances as he curbed his instincts to grind out an innings of 123 off 234 balls, curtailing himself to score only 7 boundaries in his innings. Warner, prior to the start of the series, had a disappointing average of 30 in Asia. The two tons would do him a world of good to improve his numbers in this part of the world. He now has a whopping tally of 20 Test tons in his career. He was also the other player adjudged to take away the men of the series award.
