Looking at the dodgy record of Australia batting fourth, one had a feeling that Bangladesh may have an outside chance if they manage to pick up a few early wickets. However, the positive batting line up of Aussies left nothing for chances and probability as they finished the task with ease.

There were also talks about Australians taking the game to the final day. But the aggressiveness of Smith, Maxwell and Handscomb took any such ideas out of context. Maxwell scored 25 runs at a strike rate of 148 and finished the game with a maximum as the Aussies tied the series at 1-1.
