Sam Billings wasn’t in the starting eleven in the first 2 ODIs. He was drafted in the team in place of Jason Roy for the final ODI. Billings made the most out of the chance that he got. Billings hit a brilliant half century at the top order to set the platform for England’s run chase. He put on 60-plus stands with James Vince and Ben Duckett in the process.

It was his maiden fifty. He departed on 62 that came off 69 balls. The knock was embellished with 4 fours and a six. The striking feature about the knock was that he never let the pressure creep up to his sleeve. He gets a rating of 8 for his confident run show.
